NextGen FFE seeks to offer highly entertaining, innovative and competitive on-line fantasy products. With our unique, three-stage flagship product, Fantasy Football Evolution (FFE), we believe we have set a new standard for fantasy sports, being the only company to offer a truly global fantasy football competition with the same look and feel as the traditional fantasy football that we all grew up playing.
Policy Statement Regarding Gambling
In 2006, the Federal “Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act” (UIGEA) made on-line gambling illegal in the United States. The UIGEA specifically exempted fantasy sports from this act because at the time, fantasy sports were season-long pass-times for small stakes and were clearly based on skill. However, the recent explosion of growth in 'Daily' Fantasy Sports has totally changed the industry, causing many states to legislate additional consumer protections. FFE is a 'traditional' season-long online fantasy football business. We charge a low entry fee (currently $15) to enter our three-stage global competition which requires players to draft a team and then play for many weeks to see if they can become the Global Champion and win a $25k annual grand prize. It is very similar in design to the traditional fantasy football that was in the mind of the drafters of the UIGEA exemption and is nothing like the intense ‘Daily’ fantasy football sites which have caused the recent negative public reaction to fantasy sports.
FFE is a reputable, well-established business, recognized in the industry as being a highly strategic competition requiring great skill over many weeks of competition to win. We have had zero consumer complaints with regard to gambling or employee abuses.
The ‘season-long’ fantasy sports operators are very different to the ‘Daily’ operators and we request that legislators differentiate between the two types of operators when framing protective consumer legislation.

Bernie Lodge, President & CEO
Bernie joined the company early in 2012 following a long and successful career with Mars Incorporated where he was a Corporate Senior Vice President with strong experience in Consumer Franchise Building, Finance and Operations Management. A relative newcomer to fantasy football, Bernie has caught the bug and is committed to creating a dynamic and exciting games experience for consumers. Born in the UK and currently living in Eastern Pennsylvania, Bernie holds a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham in England.
Stephen LaBarbera, Vice President & CFO
Steve joined the company early in 2012 and brings a wealth of financial and legal experience to the company. Having attained the distinction of being a practicing attorney and certified public accountant, for over 30 years, Steve is well qualified to assist the management team in driving the business forward. His past business experiences at PriceWaterhouse & Co., Mars Incorporated and his current position as a partner of the law firm of Cohen, LaBarbera & Landrigan, LLP will enable Steve to provide strong financial and legal guidance to this new and dynamic business venture. Steve is also an avid sports and fantasy football fan and is committed to ensuring the success of this unique national fantasy football competition.
Tony Pirri, Vice President of Operations
Tony, a fantasy football fanatic for the past fifteen years, still remembers the early days of fantasy football and manual scoring, and scavenging stats from the box scores of Tuesday morning newspapers. Tony has earned an Accounting degree from the Oswego State University, a Computer Programming Certificate from North Carolina State University and a MBA from University of Phoenix.
Brian Rapp, Vice President of Marketing and Strategy
Brian joined the company in 2013 and brings experience in a broad range of business functions, as well as a thorough knowledge of fantasy football. He drafted his first fantasy football team in 1982, and has established leagues at a number of locations in his career. He is passionate about the game, and about the unique position that NextGenFFE’s offering enjoys in the marketplace. Brian is currently a corporate consultant, after enjoying a long career at Mars, Incorporated. During his tenure at Mars, Brian worked in finance and IT in support of marketing, new product development, advertising, promotional activities and sponsorship programs. His combination of business experience and process expertise, as well as his passion for fantasy football, will enable him to develop creative ways to attract participants to the site and retain them after they are acquired. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from The University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration from Lehigh University.
Sean Fisher, Vice President of Business Development
After hearing about Fantasy Football Evolution's unique style of game play on Sirius XM in the Summer of 2013, Sean Fisher never looked back. As an FFE Grand Prize winner that season, he fell in love with not only the competition but the NextGen team. Shortly after the conclusion of that 2013 competition, he joined FFE as Vice President of Business Development. While the dedicated years have gone by he has led the way for the company's latest website launch and Private Competition product line. With a B.S. from Wilkes University in Business Administration and International Marketing, Sean is genuinely proud to be a part of this growing industry and a member of the Fantasy Football Evolution Management Team.
Scott Diskin, Vice President of Sales
Scott Joined FFE in 2014 as part of our marketing team, but has been a fantasy everything fanatic for 20 year. He "proclaims" to have won at least one league every year he's played fantasy, but we think he makes that up. With his vivid imagination, he has helped form our amazing site into what it is today. He has instituted our charitable donations, runs our Facebook feed and is a major contributor to our advertising team. Scott earned his Biomedical Engineering Degree from Drexel University in 2003.
